Hire a Room

Other rooms within the Beaconsfield Community Complex are available for private hire when not in use for Neighbourhood House activities. With heating and air-conditioning facilities, a comfortable atmosphere is guaranteed any time of the year. Rooms are located on ground level with disability access and amenities.  The capacity in each room will vary depending upon furniture requirements and the type of activity to be held, but the maximum is given as a guide.  Discounted rates may apply for community organisations and for regular bookings.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is a medium sized carpeted space to hold conferences, meetings, or functions for small groups.  Approximately 30 chairs are provided in this space with access to rectangle, conference flip-top tables as required.  There is a partition wall which can be used to split the room into two halves.

Room Capacity: 35-40 persons.  Cost: $30 per hour for casual use.

Meeting Room 2

Craft Room

The Craft Room is a medium sized space with linoleum flooring. The room is equipped with a sink, six black trestle tables and approximately 15 chairs. The room is ideal for art or craft purposes or as an additional area for a children’s play zone to add space when hiring other rooms.

Room Capacity: 20-25 persons.  Cost: $28.00 per hour for casual use.

VIP Room or Consulting Room

The VIP Room is a small office style space and is offered as a complimentary addition within packaged deals. This is an ideal room for a retreat, dressing room or storage area during a function or for small meetings. It has a small sink, several chairs and one flip top conference table available. The Consulting Room is used primarily for the Maternal & Child Health Nurse (MCHN) but may be hired for similar allied health consulting purposes.

Kitchen

A commercial grade kitchen is offered for self-catering purposes or cooking classes. The kitchen is equipped with double door fridge, freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, hot water dispenser and benches. The kitchen is most suitable for heating/plating pre-prepared food or food preparation for small functions only.

Room Capacity: 20 persons.  Cost: $30 per hour for casual use.





BNC Program Priority

Beaconsfield Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) program & course requirements take precedent over external hirers.  Available timeslots for external hirers may vary each term according to course & program requirements. Bookings for casual or regular hire cannot be confirmed by BNC prior to the completion of the BNC term program that relates to the booking date.
