Health, Wellness and Discussion Group
Health, Wellness and Discussion Group
If you are interested in health issues and group sharing, you are welcome to join this new group. Through sharing, learning from each other's knowledge and experience, and gathering information along the way, it is hoped that the group can take home so helpful tips, guidance, information and encouragement (even inspiration) to better help yourself, your family and your friends maximise health and wellbeing. This group will be facilitated by Rose Chong, one of our wonderful volunteers. All sessions are gold coin donation. Contact the office for dates.

Counselling Support Group
Counselling Support Group
Nothing is off the table in this new support group. We recognise that with counsellors currently fully booked for months in advance, there is a gap in the available help that is currently needed and wanted. This weekly one hour session will assist those who would like to discuss thoughts, feelings, challenges, and any residual impact of 2020/21 years. It will be a learning and sharing group facilitated by an accredited counsellor, in a safe and non-judgemental setting. The group will cover topics such as mental, emotional and behavioural health, coping strategies, resilience, isolation, loneliness, boredom, adapting to sudden change, anxiety, mood changes, internal and external triggers, lack of motivation, lethargic body and mind and the domino effect of difficulties that may percolate within the individual. Sessions start Monday 28th February 7.00pm-8.00pm or Friday 4th March 2.00pm-3.00pm for 4 weeks. Cost $60 for the 4 week block.

A wonderful modality to assist with stress and anxiety. Join Sharon for a guided meditation on a journey that you will find insightful and calming. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. You may also like to bring a journal, pen and a blanket for warmth. Starts Tuesday 1st February 11.00am-12 noon for 10 weeks. Cost $130.
